Clara is the Program Director for Gilda’s Club Kansas City which is a free, local cancer organization, where she develops and oversees the educational, healthy lifestyle, support, and resource referral programming. Prior to Gilda’s Club, Clara worked for NorthCare Hospice as a social worker and trained Grief Recovery Specialist. Clara teaches continuing education at Johnson County Community College, serves as a member of Children’s Mercy’s Equity and Diversity Council, and previously served as a board member of Mental Health America of the Heartland. She spends her free time with Vladimir, her husband, and their children, Alivia and Oden, enjoying their favorite spots around KC.
