Tanner Jaeckel

he/him

Center Coordinator

Tanner Jaeckel (he/him/his) has come to call Kansas City “home” and has worked with Queer communities as an undergraduate student at both the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), followed by Kansas State University. Embracing leadership opportunities and positions within student organizations, as well as serving to implement the 2014 Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC) and represent Kansas as counsel for the 2015 conference. If you can’t find him at the Center working on Queer centered programming or playing one of Stonewall Sports KC teams, the remainder of his world revolves around his two rambunctious felines, Dora and Grey Goose. Though he is not native to the region, he is dedicated to the mission and vision of the Center and excited at the prospects of creating a safe, empowering, and inclusive organization for the greater Kansas City Area’s Queer community.
